I cruised on Constance lake, but from Bregenz, Vorarlberg, Austria, will be nice to arrive from Zurich as well. Colmar is on my list forever seems like!

Yes, by train or car. Public transportation is great in Switzerland but it can be a little expensive, so sometimes it’s actually better to rent a car.

I haven’t been yet and was just planning a weekend break, but the places you’ve put on this list make me think I’ll want to stay a whole lot longer than that! I’m a massive fan of cheese fondue, so I’ll have to go to Gruyeres, and my husband has been to Lucerne for work but we’d love to go back to explore one day! How would you get to these places? By train I guess?
